South Bay Shores in Great America

South Bay Shores in Great America

Hello everyone! Today my friends and I went to California’s great america. We went to the water world, which is called south bay shores. It contains a whole lot of exciting and fun slides, with pools included inside for younger kids that don’t like fast, tall slides.

First, we went to pup’s pier. It was fun, but some slides were closed, better luck next time! Next to Pup’s Pier was Otter Trotter. I think that it is made for small kids around 1-4 yrs. After, we jumped into Breaker’s Bay for waves as if in the sea. I wouldn’t want to go away until we went to the FIRST WATER SLIDE in the tide pool area. The funnest water slide in the area was the black one with rainbow stripes through. If you have ever ridden on the roller coaster, Demon, you’ll see that it is very like the first tunnel it went in.

Then, me and my dad went off to ride some more intense water slides. The first one that we did was the reef racer. There were 2 slides. One was curvy which my dad went and I went on the straight down one. It was scary, but that was what it was fun about! Coastal Cruz was the one we waited for next. It was fast, swishing through the slide fast on the pool floatie.

We met our group back at the tide pool. Because my younger brother and his friends were there with us, we decided to go into the Rushin’ River. We went twice. The first time I went sitting on a floatie along with others. It was very relaxing. The second time I swam the whole way around just for fun and some practice, since it was the deepest place that I could find there.

As we were walking back to Tide pool to pack up, my friend requested to ride the NorCal Wipeout. We asked for permission, and set off to the slide. It was THRILLING! We sat on a small two person boat, and the bars pushed us off into total darkness. But, you can still feel the water splashing onto your boat, swiftness going through your hair, rapid speed that is as fast as a rushing leopard.

It was very fun today, also very suitable for families and friends to go there. I haven’t tried the Mission Falls, nor did I tried the Pacific Surge yet, but I’ll definitely try it later or someday.

Definitely recommend bringing friends!!!
